ZoomInfo doesn't publish paid-plan prices: as of 2026-10-06 you get a quote through sales, or start on the free ZoomInfo Lite plan (10 credits a month) or a 7-day trial. Apollo.io, Lusha and Clay publish entry prices; Cognism and Seamless.AI quote.

Apollo.io starts at $49 a seat a month billed annually, Lusha at $37.45 a month billed yearly, Clay at $167 a month billed annually. Cognism and Seamless.AI quote. Key takeaways

  • As of 2026-10-06, ZoomInfo publishes no paid-plan prices; its sales team scopes and quotes each contract.
  • Ways in without a quote: ZoomInfo Lite, with 10 free credits a month, and a 7-day trial of the paid platform.
  • Apollo.io, Lusha and Clay publish entry prices; Cognism and Seamless.AI quote through sales.
  • Compare what one credit buys, not the sticker price: every tool counts usage differently.
  • Clean finds companies with a real reason to buy, shows the records behind each one, and never sends.
01

How much does ZoomInfo cost in 2026?

ZoomInfo does not publish prices for its paid plans. Its pricing page, read on 2026-10-06, offers a Get Pricing form, a free trial on the sales plans and a demo on the marketing plans. ZoomInfo's own pricing guide (updated 2026-07-07) says paid plans are not published at a fixed price, that every contract is scoped to the team's usage, and that paid plans are billed annually.

What you can price without a sales call is the way in. ZoomInfo Lite is a permanent free plan with no credit card, and the pricing guide says it includes 10 credits a month, or 25 if you join the Community Edition, which asks you to contribute business contact data in return. Lite is open to people who are not current or past subscribers to ZoomInfo's premium enterprise services, and it needs a business email. The free trial of the paid platform is typically 7 days, needs no card, and ZoomInfo says it covers contact and company search, intent signals and email outreach, with usage limits.

On the paid platform, ZoomInfo's pricing page says price depends on features, the number of licenses and credit usage, and that each export costs one credit. Its homepage FAQ, first published 2026-10-02, says it doesn't charge by fixed seat tiers. The two pages describe seats differently, so ask your rep to show seats, credits and features as separate lines on the quote.

02

What do ZoomInfo's paid plans include?

ZoomInfo describes itself as an AI platform for sales and marketing teams, built on its B2B data. It says it has data on 500M+ contacts. Its pages give different company counts, so we left those out.

The sales plans, as listed on 2026-10-06, stack AI on top of that data. Professional adds AI-written email and personalization, plus intelligent dialing. Copilot Advanced adds AI account prioritization based on ZoomInfo's B2B signals, an Account Fit Score, buyer intent signals and website visitors. Copilot Enterprise adds AI-generated ideal customer profiles and real-time buyer intent. ZoomInfo also says its AI combines its data with your CRM, your conversations and buying signals to show why accounts are moving.

On fit, ZoomInfo is direct. Its own Apollo comparison page calls ZoomInfo best for enterprise and upper mid-market teams, and points startups, SMBs and individual reps to Apollo. Lite is pitched at individual professionals and small teams. In practice, ZoomInfo's own pages put small teams on Lite and larger teams on quoted plans.

03

Which ZoomInfo alternatives publish their prices?

We picked five tools that each have a published comparison with ZoomInfo, on their own site or on zoominfo.com: Apollo.io, Cognism, Lusha, Seamless.AI and Clay. Three publish entry prices. Two quote.

Apollo.io lists a free plan and paid plans from $49 a seat a month billed annually, or $65 billed monthly, as of 2026-10-06. Apollo calls the free plan good for founders and early-stage teams and says it has 240M+ contacts and 30M+ companies. Email campaigns come with every plan, including free. More in our Apollo alternatives guide and on Clean vs Apollo.

Lusha lists a free plan with 40 credits a month and one seat, and a Starter plan at $37.45 a month billed yearly or $49.90 billed monthly. Clay lists a free plan (500 actions and 100 data credits a month, up to 200 rows per table) and Launch at $185 a month billed monthly or $167 billed annually. Clay can search for companies and people itself and sends email on paid plans. See Clay alternatives.

Cognism and Seamless.AI quote. Cognism's pricing page asks you to request a personalized quote for your team; its Standard and Pro packages each include 5 seats. Seamless.AI says it is free for up to 50 credits, then sends you to its sales team. One wrinkle: ZoomInfo's pricing guide tells buyers that Cognism offers transparent starting prices, but Cognism's pricing page showed none on 2026-10-06. Every alternatives list is on the alternatives hub, and the head-to-heads are on the compare hub.

04

What does one credit actually buy at each tool?

Sticker prices hide the real comparison, because every tool counts usage differently. Before you sign, turn each quote into one unit: what it costs to get one usable contact at one target account.

As of 2026-10-06: at Apollo.io an email address costs 1 credit and a phone number 8, credits are pooled across the team, and unused credits do not roll over. At Lusha, revealing an email costs 1 credit and a phone number 5. At Cognism, 1 credit is 1 revealed contact. At ZoomInfo, each export costs one credit. Clay bills two units: actions for the platform work Clay does, from less than a cent each, and data credits for data and AI bought from its marketplace, from $0.05 each.

A quick test beats any feature grid, including ours. Take the free tier of each tool on your shortlist and run it against the same 10 accounts you already know are good fits. At one credit per export, ZoomInfo Lite's 10 monthly credits cover a small version of that test. Count how many usable contacts each tool returns and what the same work would cost on the paid plan.

05

Which alternative fits if you sell to plants, employers or law firms?

If you sell into manufacturing, insurance or legal, the useful question is which companies have a real reason to buy what you sell, and who decides there. Here is what each approach returns.

Manufacturing plants. A contact database returns plants and people that match your filters, plus the signals the tool lists: ZoomInfo lists buyer intent and website visitors; Apollo.io lists intent topics, job changes, new hires, funding rounds and company news. Clay returns whatever you build from its providers. Clean returns plants with a real reason to buy what you sell, the evidence behind each one and who decides. Example (invented): a company selling maintenance software sees one plant, the evidence behind its reason to buy, and who decides there. Start at Clean for manufacturing, or read manufacturing email lists vs plant buying moments for the difference between a contact list and a reason to buy.

Employers and insurance firms. A contact database gives you HR, finance or agency contacts that match your filters. Whether an employer has an open benefits decision, or an insurance firm a reason to change the software it runs, is a separate question. Clean shows the employers or insurance firms with a real reason to buy, the evidence and who decides. Benefits sellers can start with benefits buying signals; insurtech companies selling to carriers can start with how carriers buy software. Both sit under Clean for insurance.

Law firms and legal teams. Legal tech sellers have two buyers that buy differently: law firms (who buys legal tech at a firm) and in-house legal teams (how in-house legal teams buy). Clean finds law firms and legal teams with a real reason to buy what you sell, shows the evidence behind each one and names who decides. Start at Clean for legal tech.

06

Where does Clean fit, and when is it the wrong tool?

Clean does a narrower job than any tool above. It finds companies with a real reason to buy what you sell, ranks them against your ICP, shows the records behind each one, names who decides and shows who in your team's network can introduce you. Every prospect is backed by real-world records. Clean doesn't use ad clicks, page views or other intent data, and it never sends, posts or replies: your team decides who to contact and what to say. Prospects sync to HubSpot or Attio.

Clean is not a contact database you search, and it is not a sending tool. If you need a searchable contact database, the tools above cover that. If you also want email in the same product, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io and Clay list it on their own pages. Clean can sit next to a contact database: it picks the companies and the reason, and your team reaches out with the tools it already has. Access to Clean starts with a demo.

What to ask before you sign a ZoomInfo quote

If you are mid-negotiation, these questions come straight from how ZoomInfo describes its own pricing. ZoomInfo's pricing guide even suggests bringing competing quotes, and the published prices above give you numbers to bring.

  • How many credits are included each year, and what does one export cost against them?
  • How are seats or licenses counted? ZoomInfo's pricing page and homepage describe this differently.
  • Is billing annual? ZoomInfo's pricing guide says paid plans are billed annually.
  • Which plan carries what you saw in the demo? The Account Fit Score sits on Copilot Advanced, AI-built ICPs on Copilot Enterprise.
  • Can you test on Lite or the 7-day trial first, against your own target accounts?

Where Clean wins

Clean wins when your question is which companies to approach, not how to reach everyone who matches a filter. Access starts with a demo.

Common questions

What are the best ZoomInfo alternatives?

Five tools with published ZoomInfo comparisons are Apollo.io, Cognism, Lusha, Seamless.AI and Clay; each has a ZoomInfo comparison page of its own, or ZoomInfo publishes one about it. As of 2026-10-06, Apollo.io, Lusha and Clay publish entry prices, while Cognism and Seamless.AI quote. The best one depends on the job: a contact database, a workflow builder, or, with Clean, companies with a real reason to buy and the evidence behind each one.

How much does ZoomInfo cost?

ZoomInfo does not publish prices for its paid plans. As of 2026-10-06 you request a quote through a Get Pricing form, and ZoomInfo's pricing guide says each contract is scoped to the team's usage and paid plans are billed annually. Price depends on features, licenses and credit usage, and each export costs one credit. ZoomInfo Lite, a free plan with 10 credits a month, and a 7-day trial are the ways in without a quote.

Does ZoomInfo have a free plan?

Yes. ZoomInfo Lite is a permanent free plan with no credit card. ZoomInfo's pricing guide says it includes 10 credits a month, or 25 with Community Edition, which asks you to contribute business contact data. Separately, ZoomInfo offers a free trial of its paid platform, typically 7 days, with no card required (as of 2026-10-06).

What is a good alternative to ZoomInfo for finding manufacturing plants to sell to?

It depends on the question you need answered. If you need contacts at plants that match your filters, the contact databases compared here let you search people and companies by filters, at the prices or quotes listed on 2026-10-06. If you need to know which plants have a real reason to buy what you sell, Clean is built for that market: it finds the plants, shows the evidence behind each one, names who decides and shows who in your network can introduce you.

What is the best ZoomInfo alternative for a startup or early-stage company?

Start free and test on your own accounts. As of 2026-10-06, ZoomInfo Lite gives 10 credits a month, Apollo.io has a free plan it calls good for founders and early-stage teams, Lusha's free plan has 40 credits a month, Clay's free plan has 100 data credits a month and Seamless.AI is free up to 50 credits.
