The short answer
Clean's Granola integration reads only meetings where one of your workspace's leads was an attendee. It keeps Granola's AI notes, plus the transcript when your Granola plan provides it, and links each meeting to that lead. Every member connects their own Granola account, the whole workspace can see the meetings, and disconnecting stops the sync.

What Clean reads from Granola
Clean looks at who attended each meeting and keeps only the meetings where at least one attendee is a lead in your workspace, matched on the lead's email address. For those meetings it stores Granola's AI notes and, when your plan includes it, the transcript. Meetings with anyone else stay in Granola.

What your team sees in Clean
Imported meetings appear on the Meetings page under Insights, grouped by lead. For each lead, Clean writes a short summary of where the relationship stands across all of their meetings and suggests a status that anyone can change.

Each member connects their own account
Granola notes belong to the person who took them, so every member connects their own Granola account and Clean reads the meetings that member held. Credentials are encrypted. When teammates connect too, their meetings with the same lead appear together, so the team sees one meeting history per lead.

How to connect Granola to Clean
Before you connect, Clean lists what it reads, what it keeps, who can see it, and what happens on disconnect. The API key route needs a Granola Business or Enterprise plan.
- Open Granola in Integrations. In your Clean workspace settings, open Integrations and choose Connect on the Granola row, under Meetings. Each member connects their own Granola account.
- Add your Granola key. Create a personal API key in the Granola desktop app under Settings, Connectors, API keys, and paste it into Clean. Where your workspace offers it, you can sign in with Granola instead.
- Run the first sync. Clean imports the meetings where a lead attended and links each one to that lead. Sync now pulls new or updated meetings whenever you want.

Does Clean import the transcript?
Yes, when your Granola plan provides transcripts, alongside Granola's AI notes. On plans without transcript access, Clean imports the notes only, and the connection page says so.
Who can see the meetings Clean imports?
Every member of your workspace, on the Meetings page under Insights. Meetings from every connected Granola account appear together on the matching lead.
What does Clean do with the meetings?
It links each meeting to the lead who attended and writes a short summary of where the relationship stands across all of that lead's meetings, with a suggested status. The meetings stay inside your workspace.
What happens when I disconnect Granola?
Syncing stops and Clean removes your credential. You choose whether to keep the meetings already imported or delete them too. You can also revoke the key in Granola under Settings, Connectors, API keys.
